Since Jonathan Crary incorporated Jonathan’s Jewelers in Bedford, NH in 1997, we have completed over 50,000 repairs and become the state’s best full-service jewelry store. Most repairs are done on premises; and many sizings, settings and appraisals can be done while you wait (with an appointment). We have several certified jewelers and a friendly, educated sales staff to meet your every jewelry need.
Owner, Bench Jeweler, Designer
Jonathan has owned Jonathan's Jewelers since 1997. He's been in the jewelry business since 1980. Jon's interest began in high school 1977 where he made rings from silver spoons. He then went on to apprentice with one of the top jewelers in western Massachusetts.
Upon moving to New Hampshire, Jon took on the role of manager for Gemvest Jewelers in Bedford. In addition to managing the store, he also served as Master Bench Jeweler and designer. In May of 1997, Jon elected to open his own establishment and created Jonathan's Jewelers.
Jon is certified by GIA in diamond grading and is presently completing the work for his Graduate Gemologist degree. He is the current President of the New England Jewelers' Association, and is well-versed in all types of jewelry repair. Jon takes great pride in his workmanship and great skill as a diamond setter.
Designer, Bench Jeweler
Tom has been in the jewelry business since 1991 and with Jonathan’s Jewelers since 1999. A recipient of numerous design awards from the New England Jewelers Association, he is well known for his contemporary jewelry designs, as well as his unique ability to capture each customer’s vision by creating three-dimensional pencil drawings on the spot. Tom takes great pride in translating his sketches into beautiful and original finished jewelry that are truly custom-made, and fit perfectly with each customer’s personal tastes, budgets and lifestyles.
Tom’s interest in jewelry design began while taking high school art classes. In addition to gaining a fluent understanding of Victorian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Retro designs, he mastered wax model making skills via his work as a dental technician. Tom designed and created many wedding bands for friends, spent two years as an apprentice and three years as a full-time bench jeweler to further hone his craft. His on-the-job experience provided a unique opportunity to work with gold and platinum, and he shares Jonathan’s passion for superior design and quality work.
Appraiser, Modelmaker, Bench Jeweler
Debbie has been with Jonathan's since 2001 and has been in the business since 1986. She completed a four year apprenticeship at a large jewelry store in England and went on to become a designer and assistant manager.
She now works at Jonathan's as a designer/modelmaker and appraiser. Deb has completed her security awareness training and received her Declaration of Completion from the Jewelers Board of Appraisal Review. Debbie is also well versed in metallurgy, understanding allergic reactions to alloys of precious metals. This allows her to offer options to our customers who have allergies to these metals.
Lauren has been with Jonathan's since 2017, and has been in the jewelry business since 2015. She has a BFA degree in Metals and Jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Inventory Manager, Sales
Anna has been working at Jonathan's Jewelers since 2016. She worked in a Swedish bank as a Teller / Manager for nine years in Lithuania. After moving to the United States she has since become inventory manager here at Jonathan's Jewelers.
Prior to working at Jonathan's Jewelers, Kerry-Ann worked in the finance sector of business. She earned her Associate's Degree of business Finance from Hesser College while working as an apprentice for Tillotson Healthcare in the administrative and accounting department for several years. Kerry-Ann carried on her accounting background knowledge as an Accounts Payable Associate with Catholic Medical Center in Manchester for nearly 13 years.
Kerry-Ann’s interest in jewelry began as a teen, making trips to visit her aunt’s family-owned shop in North Andover, MA. Her driven ambition led her to new opportunities in the jewelry industry. Kerry-Ann made the switch to follow her passion of jewelry by earning her Accredited Jewelry Professional Certificate with the GIA in 2016. She is currently pursuing her Graduate of Diamond Grading Certificate with the GIA.
Stefanie has been in the jewelry business since 1991 and with Jonathan’s Jewelers since November of 2018. She is a third generation bench jeweler which peaked her interest at a young age. She went to North Bennet Street School in Boston where she learned design, repair, and manufacturing skills. Before coming to Jonathan's Jewelers she worked at Jared for 2 years.
Sales, Social Media Manager
Rachel is currently a Senior at Bedford High School. She will be graduating in June and hopes to go into Fashion Design for college. She has been working at Jonathan's Jewelers since August of 2017. At Jonathan’s Jewelers Rachel manages the social media and works with the marketing professionals to produce great jewelry content online. Rachel also assists in Sales and Administrative Services.
Rachel is on the Varsity Track and Gymnastics Team at Bedford High School.

Sales, Estate Specialist
Ken joined Jonathan’s in 2010, and has been in the business since 2005 as an antiques estate appraiser, auctioneer, estate liquidator, and international antiques dealer. He also served for 24 years as an Air Force Air Traffic Controller, is a Vietnam veteran, and retired at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Ken is our resident research expert regarding antique and estate pieces, and is well versed in sales.
Ashley has worked at Jonathan's Jewelers since 2015 and has helped Jonathan in large estate purchases and evaluations.
